Department of Psychology

The department of psychology was started in the college in 2005. Psychology is taught in the first and second year. (IDS)Subject Human Development in B.A. Second is taught through the Department of Psychology. The success rate of students is above 95 percent every year. Wallpapers, expert lectures are organized by the Department of Psychology. Prenatal Development, Importance of Studying psychology Subjects, Psychology and career opportunity, AstepTowardsLiteracy etc. in last five years. Guest lectures were conducted on the subjects. In the wallpaper presentation, wallpapers were taken on topics like mental health emotions prental development etc. along with this, yoga programs are conducted. Also counseling is done to all the students in the college if they have any problem.

Aim
- To create mental and social awareness among the students.
- To train students with physical and mental hygiene for the betterment of the society.
- To achieve all round development of all students.

Objective
- To develop mentally, emotionally and educationally efficient students to build a strong nation.
- To provide career opportunities and knowledge in psychology to attract students towards psychology.
- To provide personal counseling to all girl students.
